Prince: Three Shows, Three Rooms, One Venue

Remember yesterday when Prince announced he would perform three shows tonight at Los Angeles-area venues that were yet to be announced? Turns out he’s making it easy on himself by scheduling the shows in three separate rooms in the same building.

West Hollywood’s House Of Blues will host His Purpleness tonight as Prince plays an 8 p.m. gig in the club’s Music Hall before moving to HOB’s Jazz Café at the Porch Restaurant for the 11 p.m. gig. A private charity event scheduled for 1 a.m. completes the hat trick, taking place in the very exclusive Foundation Room.

Tonight’s shows plus his upcoming concerts at the Forum in Inglewood brings the total of Los Angeles-area shows in his 21-gig residency to 20.
