Trial Date Set In Phil Spector Wrongful-Death Suit
A trial date has been set for a lawsuit that accuses music producer Phil Spector of wrongful death in the fatal shooting of actress Lana Clarkson his Los Angeles-area home.
A clerk says a Jan. 9 trial date was set Thursday in Pasadena Superior Court. Clarkson’s family is suing Spector for unspecified damages.
Spector is serving 19 years to life for killing Clarkson in 2003 at his castle-like Alhambra home. He’s appealing his 2009 conviction for second-degree murder.
