More Katy Perry Dates
For a while it looked as if the St. Louis gig scheduled for Aug. 20 would be the last fans on these shores would see Ms. Perry on her current tour. But today’s addition of eight new concerts extends the U.S. run into the next month.
The new dates begin with a stop in San Antonio at the AT&T Center Sept. 7; the New Orleans Arena Sept. 8; Louisville, Ky., at KFC Yum! Arena Sept. 10; Grand Rapids, Mich., at the Van Andel Arena Sept. 11; Columbus, Ohio, at the Schottenstein Arena Sept. 13; Indianapolis at the Conseco Fieldhouse Sept. 14; Omaha at the Quest Center Sept. 16 and Tulsa at the BOK Center Sept. 17.
Janelle Monáe appears on all new dates.
Throughout the “California Dreams” tour, Perry is giving fans opportunities to share their Twitter messages with their fellow audience members. Powered by Mass Relevance, “Tweet-To-Screen” pretty much functions as the name implies and consists of giant on-stage screens displaying tweets sent to dedicated hashtags.
But if you’re more interested in good seats than good tweets, Perry has partnered with Tickets For Charity to offer some of the best seats in the house with a portion of the proceeds helping out three Perry-selected causes – Generosity Water, The Human Society of the United States and the Children’s Health Fund.
Ticket sales for some of the new dates begin this week. Check out KatyPerry.com for more information.
