All indications point to a tour by a reunited Buffalo Springfield. While never a member of the group, David Crosby told Rolling Stone last month that the band consisting of surviving members Stephen Stills, Richie Furay and Young would tour in the fall. The Bonnaroo Music Festival lists the Buffalo Springfield on its lineup but has yet to announce a firm date, meaning the band will appear sometime during the festival’s four-day run June 9-12 near Manchester, Tenn. The band performed publicly for the first time in 42 years when it appeared both days at Young’s annual in Mountain View, Calif., Oct. 23-24.

Playing selections from his latest album, Le Noise, as well as chestnuts from his long and incredible career, Young begins his tour in Durham, N.C., at the Performing Arts Center April 15, plays Richmond, Va., at the Landmark Theatre April 17 and stops in Boston for two nights at the Wang Theatre April 19-20. Destinations also include Providence (April 22), New York City (April 24-25), Baltimore (April 27-28), Philadelphia (April 30-May 1), Cincinnati (May 3), Detroit (May 6) and Chicago (May 6-7).

What can you expect from Shakey this time around? Word from the label is that each show will include electric and acoustic performances of his work. Check out NeilYoung.com for more information.
