The Black Lips Plot April Run

Produced by Mark Ronson and to be released on Vice Music, the band’s full-length effort was tagged as one of the “30 Must-Hear Albums of 2011” by Spin.

While The Black Lips have a March 7 date in New Orleans at One Eyed Jacks, the tour doesn’t enter rigorous, day-to-day travel-play-travel mode until April 6 in Carrboro, N.C., at Cat’s Cradle followed April 7 in Baltimore at Ottobar, April 8 in Washington, D.C., at Black Cat and April 9 at Philadelphia’s Trocadero Theatre.

Other cities hosting the band include New York (April 12), Boston (April 14), Detroit (April 17), Chicago (April 22), Omaha (April 25), Dallas (April 27) and Baton Rouge (April 30).
