Lil’ Wayne’s ‘I Am Music II’ Set For March Launch
In 2009 Wayne pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon resulting from a 2007 arrest in New York City. Wayne was originally sentenced to serve a year in prison and began his sentence last March. He was released on good behavior from New York’s Ricers Island prison facility in November after serving eight months in the slammer.
Now the most excellent rapper is out and ready to party on a March / April run that also includes Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mix Master Mike.
Produced by Live Nation and Haymon Ventures, the tour begins in Buffalo at the HSBC Arena March 18. Other stops include Hampton, Va., at the Hampton Coliseum March 23; Philadelphia at the Wells Fargo Center March 26; Chicago at the United Center April 1; St. Louis at the Scottrade Center April 10; Houston at Toyota Center April 16; Anaheim at Honda Center April 23: and Oakland at Oracle Arena April 24.
