Third Day’s $25 Ticket Tour
Describing Third Day as a “Grammy-winning” band is kind of an understatement. Sure, the band has racked up four golden gramophones, but that count is in addition to the group’s 24 GMA Dove Awards, two RIAA Platinum and eight Gold certifications, one American Music Award and 27 No. 1 radio singles.
The band’s upcoming run, dubbed the “Make Your Move Tour” in support of its October release, Move, starts Feb. 18 in Mercedes, Texas, at the RGV Livestock Show Grounds followed by a show in Longview, Texas, at the S.E. Belcher Performance Hall Feb. 19.
Next on the schedule is a run of March shows, including Indianapolis at Northview Church March 10; Davenport, Iowa, at Adler Theater March 12; Bossier City, La., at First Baptist Church March 18 and Johnstown, Pa., at the War Memorial Arena March 26.
But it doesn’t stop there. Look for the tour to continue through April and May, hitting markets like Memphis, Chicago, Cincinnati, Nashville, Kansas City, Macon and West Palm Beach.
Joining Third Day will be Revive in February, Tenth Avenue North March through May and Trevor Morgan on all dates.
“The fan response to the new album Move has been better than we ever could have hoped,” bassist Tai Anderson said. “We can’t wait to play the new music live and take the songs to a whole other place on the Make Your Move Tour. The show is going to be about the music and message that has given us the greatest and most supportive fans in the world, and we’re going to deliver that music and message with renewed urgency and passion.”
The tour is also about a low $25 price tag for all regular tickets. In addtion, Third Day will offer special VIP packages that include prime seating and meet-&-greets as well as group packages.
Of course, in order to keep prices low, tours need sponsors. For Third Day that means Grand Canyon University and Christian humanitarian organization World Vision.
Fan club presales will be announced soon. For more information, click here for the Third Day website.
