Fans know what the above letters mean. But for the unenlightened, the alphabet soup headline means the first round of dates for next year’s New Kids On The Block / Backstreet Boys tour has been announced.

The announcement of the joint tour was made last week, but sadly no specifics were even discussed at the time. Now there are dates, cities and venues to go along with the outing.

So far, five shows for the Live Nation-produced tour have been announced – Toronto at Air Canada Center June 9; Uniondale, N.Y., at Nassau Coliseum June 11; E. Rutherford, N.J., at Izod Center June 12; Chicago at United Center June 17 and Los Angeles at Staples Center July 1.

But you don’t have to wait until next year for a dose of NKOTB/BSB. The groups will perform together live on the American Music Awards Nov. 21.

Tickets for Toronto, Uniondale and E. Rutherford go on sale Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. EST. Chicago’s onsale begins Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. CST and Los Angeles goes up Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. PST.
