U2 Announces Nashville Gig
U2’s 360° Tour adds a Nashville date to its world domination agenda.
The July 2 date at Vanderbilt University marks the first time U2 has played Music City since 1981. At a press conference announcing the show local officials said the stadium will hold approximately 45,500 fans, according to The Tennessean.
Opening for U2 will be Florence & The Machine.
U2.com subscriber presales are split into two days with Group 1 (Horizon, Boots, Breathe and Magnificent) getting the morning launch beginning at 10 a.m. Group 2 (Cedars) goes up the same day but a few hours later at 3 p.m. The public onsale begins Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. All times local.
