U2 Adds South Africa
U2 returns to South Africa for the first time in 12 years as the band slots February dates in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
There are two shows planned at this time – Feb. 13 in Johannesburg at FNB Stadium and Feb. 18 in Cape Town at Cape Town Stadium. The shows mark the first time a band will headline concerts at the two World Cup stadiums since, well, the World Cup. Hopefully, local residents will leave their vuvuzelas at home.
The last time U2 played South Africa was in 1998 during the band’s Popmart tour.
