For the uninitiated, Iron & Wine is singer / songwriter Samuel Beam. With three studio albums as well as many tunes available only as downloads, Iron & Wine not only has seen positive chart action over the years but has also managed to place songs on highly visible TV shows such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “House” as well as the “Twilight” motion picture.

The new album – Kiss Each Other Clean – is Iron & Wine’s first studio effort in three years, scheduled to drop in January.

Iron & Wine will do a full-band swing through November. First up is St. Louis at the Pageant Nov. 13 followed by Memphis at Minglewood Hall Nov. 14 and Asheville, N.C., at the Orange Peel Nov. 15. Other stops include Atlanta, Houston, New Orleans and Florida towns Jacksonville, Miami Beach and Tallahassee.
