Confessions Of A Swiss Army Romance

Because frontman Chris Carrabba started the indie emo band as a solo side-project to his band Further Seems Forever, it’s only fitting that the singer/guitarist will be hitting the road on his own for this trek.

The 17-date tour will feature Carrabba performing Dashboard Confessional’s debut 2000 album in its entirety.

The trip down memory lane begins Nov. 27 with a gig at Revolution in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Additional stops include Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, N.C. (Nov. 30), House Of Blues in Atlantic City, N.J. (Dec. 4), Webster Hall in New York (Dec. 7), Paradise Rock Club in Boston (Dec. 11) and The Note In West Chester, Pa.

The 10th anniversary tour wraps up with two gigs in Chicago. Carrabba plays Lincoln Hall Dec. 18, followed by a Dec. 19 show at The Bottom Lounge.

Along with the tour, Dashboard Confessional is taking pre-orders for a vinyl deluxe version of The Swiss Army Romance. The newly remastered album, which will be spread across five 7-inch records, comes packaged in a folded Swiss Army style box that also includes expanded artwork, guitar picks, never before seen photos and handwritten lyrics. The box set, which is set for release Nov. 16, is only being sold through Dashboard’s website and is limited to 1,000 numbered copies.
