Bentley’s New York City Residency

Instead of playing multiple nights at the same New York City venue Bentley is playing four consecutive nights at different venues throughout the Big Apple.

The game plan calls for Bentley to do different gigs showcasing various aspects of the country artist’s career. Bentley will welcome special guests on at least two of the dates.

By residency standards, this is a short one, beginning Oct. 18 at the Bowery Ballroom, followed by a City Winery engagement Oct. 19; a stop at Joe’s Pub Oct. 20 and wrapping at the South Paw Oct. 21.

The Bowery’s Oct. 19 show is billed as a “country concert” while the Joe’s Pub gig is listed as “songwriter night” and will include appearances by Jessi Alexander, Jim Beavers and Jon Randall Stewart. The Del McCoury Band joins Bentley on the City Winery engagement and The Punch Brothers will perform at South Paw.

Sirius / XM will stream the shows via channels The Highway and Bluegrass Junction.

“This entire year has been about following my heart, musically,” Bentley said. “Getting the opportunity to be in New York in the fall, playing with my heroes and my friends is really exciting…it’s a cool way for me to take everything we’ve done this year and pick it apart and really focus on each different element of the music for an entire night.”

A limited number of four-day passes will become available through Bentley’s website beginning Sept. 10. Single tickets will also be available through the site as well as at individual venues. For more info click here for Dierks.com.
