Frankenstein Reportedly Acted Like A Monster At Keith Concert

What’s in a name? Let’s put it this way, having the last name “Frankenstein” means you have a lot to live up to. It also helps if you have $80,000 for bail.

Just ask Forrest Frankenstein of Hamilton, Ohio. The 39-year-old Frankenstein was arrested Friday night at Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center during Toby Keith’s concert at the venue.

Frankenstein’s problems apparently began when he approached two Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies at the concert and threatened several times to kill them, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Of course, the deputies arrested Frankenstein, who then kicked a police cruiser’s window out of its frame and then “repeatedly smashed the top of his skull into a partition of a police vehicle” reports the Enquirer, quoting police records.

Frankenstein, who was arrested on two counts of menacing disorderly conduct and vandalism appeared before Judge Bernie Bouchard Monday, who set bond at $20,000 per offense, totaling $80,000.

When the judge asked Frankenstein about how his monstrous behavior began, the defendant replied, “I started drinking.”

Judge Bouchard then asked him if he remembered anything about Friday night. Frankenstein answered, “Uh, not really,”

To which the judge replied, “I didn’t think you would.”

Ironically, Frankenstein’s appearance before Judge Bouchard occurred August 30th – the 213th birthday of British writer Mary Shelley, author of the 1818 novel “Frankenstein: or, The Modern Prometheus,” which introduced the world to Dr. Frankenstein and his loveable monster.
