‘Into The Wild’ With 30 Seconds To Mars
Leto brothers Jared and Shannon and lead guitarist Tomo Milicevic have been getting a lot of mileage from the band’s best-selling 2009 album, This Is War, snagging four Kerrang Award noms – best album, best video, best live band and best international band. The band launched its “Into The Wild” outing early this year, playing 89 cities in 27 countries, including a Euro leg where the band headlined an arena tour for the very first time.
While the fall leg of the “Into The Wild” tour begins Aug. 30 in Syracuse at the New York State Fair, the majority of show additions are for September and October. Newly added stops include Winnipeg at Burton Cummings Theatre Sept. 18; Edmonton at Edmonton Events Centre Sept. 20; Calgary at the MacEwan Conference and Event Centre Sept. 21; Vancouver at Queen Elizabeth Theatre Sept. 22 and Medford, Ore., at the Medford Armory Sept. 23.
Other new cities on the schedule are Los Angeles, Austin, Oklahoma City, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Louisville, Nashville, Tampa, Pensacola, Charlotte, N.C., Clive, Iowa, Columbus, Ohio, and Plymouth, Mich.
Australian band Violent Soho appears Aug. 30-Sept. 22. Neon Trees and New Politics appear Sept. 23-Oct. 15 except for Oct. 9. For more information, click here for the 30 Seconds To Mars website.
