Thrice / Manchester Orchestra Tour Off
There is no joy for fans of Thrice and Manchester Orchestra today as news emerges that the bands’ co-headlining tour has been canceled.
At first it looked as if Thrice was dropping off the tour. Early today the band posted a message on its website saying singer/guitarist Dustin Kensrue needed to fly home because of a family emergency and that the band would miss tonight’s gig in St. Louis. That message was later updated to announce Thrice was dropping off the tour.
However, a representative for Manchester Orchestra told Pollstar that the tour, which also included O’Brother, is now kaput. As usual, refunds will be available at point of purchase.
Thrice’s next scheduled date is June 3 in San Francisco at The Regency Ballroom. For more info, click here for the band’s website.
