No Hay Imposibles World Tour
Chayanne is hitting the road this spring for his “No Hay Imposibles” (“Nothing Is Impossible”) World Tour in support of his latest studio album of the same title.
The tour – which marks the Puerto Rican pop singer’s first since 2008 – features a 25-date U.S. trek divided into two legs.
The first leg of the U.S. tour kicks off May 13 at the Gibson Amphitheatre At Universal CityWalk in Universal City, Calif., and wraps up June 6 at The Arena At Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.
Additional dates include Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon, Calif. (May 21), Anselmo Valencia Tori Amphitheatre in Tucson, Ariz. (May 22), San Diego Sports Arena (May 23) and AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami (June 4).
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 5.

The Puerto Rican pop singer also plans to hit venues in Mexico, Latin America, Europe and Puerto Rico.
No Hay Imposibles is Chayanne’s 21st studio album and the follow-up to 2007’s Mi Tiempo. The 11-track album was released on Feb. 23 and recorded between Miami, Puerto Rico, Los Angeles, Bogota and Buenos Aires. The album has already been certified gold in the U.S., Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela. The first single, “Me Enamore De Ti,” is also the theme to the popular Mexican telenovela “Corazón Salvaje.”
Chayanne recently teamed up with Latin artists including Shakira, Ricky Martin, Carlos Santana, David Archuleta, Juan Luis Guerra and Juanes in recording a Spanish-language adaptation of “We Are the World” to raise money for Haiti earthquake relief.
The Spanish-language version was produced by Emilio Estefan, Quincy Jones and Univision and written by Gloria Estefan. The tune aired for the first time yesterday on Univision’s “The Cristina Show.”
The original song was recorded in 1985 to raise funds for African hunger relief. The charity tune featured 45 American artists including Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen and Cyndi Lauper. The 25th anniversary version was re-recorded with 80 new artists, including Jennifer Hudson, Carlos Santana, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand and Lil Wayne, to raise money for Haiti. The re-recording premiered Feb. 12 during the Winter Olympics opening ceremony in Vancouver.
