Tuesday marks the stateside release of Editors’ third album, In This Light And On This Evening. The album was released in Europe in October, debuting at the top of the U.K. charts and in the top 10 throughout the rest of the continent.

The tour kicks off Feb. 5 at Showbox At The Market in Seattle and concludes Feb. 21 at the 9:30 Club in Washington. D.C.

Additional dates include Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, British Columbia (Feb. 6), House Of Blues in San Diego (Feb. 9), Vic Theatre in Chicago (Feb. 15), Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto (Feb. 16), Terminal 5 in New York (Feb. 19) and Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia (Feb. 20).

The Antlers will be opening for Editors on all dates except Seattle and Vancouver.

Editors last performed in the states Feb. 14, 2008 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas.

After wrapping up the round of North American dates, Editors tour the U.K., with dates on the books stretching from a March 6 performance at Engine Shed in Lincoln through a March 30 gig at O2 Academy Birmingham. The band then heads for France, playing Olympia in Paris, April 29 followed by performances in Belgium (April 30) and Netherlands (May 1). 

Editors are set to perform Feb. 4 on “The Tonight Show with Conan O’ Brien” on NBC and Feb. 10 on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on ABC.
