Tibet House U.S. is a non-profit organization founded in 1987 at the request of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to serve as a center for the preservation and presentation of endangered Tibetan Culture. Its annual benefit concert honors the Monlam Prayer Festival, which is traditionally held to coincide with the Tibetan New Year.

Each year, a portion of the proceeds is shared with other charitable organizations. Among this year’s recipients is Tibetan Community of New York and New Jersey.
