The band’s 2009 release – Dark Horse – has already gone multiplatinum and continues to be a big seller in the new year.

While some of the U.S. 2010 dates had already been announced, Nickelback fattened the routing sheet, including stops in the U.S. for April and May, capping with a run through Canada.

The new additions include April 23 in St. Louis at the Scottrade Center; May 5 at the Spokane Arena; May 15 in Dallas at American Airlines Center; May 18 in Rosemont (Chicago) at Allstate Arena and May 27 at the Fargodome.

New Canada dates are May 29 in Saskatoon at the Credit Union Center; May 31 in Calgary at Pengrowth Saddledome; June 1 in Edmonton at Rexall Place and June 3 in Vancouver at GM Place. Previously announced Canada dates include April 6 (London), April 8 (Toronto), April 9 (Montreal) and April 11 (Ottawa).

Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown and Sick Puppies appear on all dates.

Nickelback fan club members will get first crack at buying tickets for new dates in selected markets beginning Jan. 8, while Citi cardmembers have their own pre-sale beginning Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. local time through Citi’s Private Pass program.
