An outfit called Abbey Road Live has been recording every Pixies show on the band’s U.S. fall tour since the band hit the road Nov. 8. Although recordings of future shows will be sold at the end of every night’s performance beginning Nov. 23, fans wanting to purchase recordings of previous shows on the tour can do so at Web site DoolittleLive.com.

But you get more than a couple of recently burned CDs. First of all, they’re only cranking out 1,000 copies per night for each show, with each set individually numbered, making them limited edition Pixies CDs.

The recordings are also mixed and mastered each night, giving fans true multi-track mixes instead of soundboard mixes.

Along with the live recordings, fans can snag commemorative USB wristbands for $15 each, with each wristband containing four songs recorded during the European Doolittle run. The wristbands also include a bonus of five Pixies videos.

Buying the USB also gives fans a $5 discount on buying downloads from DoolittleLive.com.

This isn’t the first time the band has sold live recordings after each night’s show. Back in 2004 the Pixies worked with DiscLive to send their fans home with audio mementos. In fact, the CEO for Abbey Road Live – Zach Bair – used to hold down the same job at DiscLive.

“It’s a great pleasure to be working with the Pixies once again,” Bair said. “We’re excited to be able to offer these limited edition products so that the Pixies’ fans can take something home that’s really memorable and special.”
