Kanye West / Lady GaGa Tour!
You’ve probably already heard about West’s latest stunt – upstaging Taylor Swift at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Swift, who had just received a VMA for best female video, was about to give her “thank you” speech when West walked up onstage, grabbed the mic from her and told the audience that Beyoncé should have won the honor, proving once again that he still needs to work on his public persona.
Most VMA-inspired water cooler chatter today is centered on something that could be charitably described as West’s dumbest stunt yet. That is, until his next TV appearance gives him a chance to top himself.
The Kanye West / Lady Gaga tour, which runs November through January, launches in Phoenix on Nov. 10 at the US Airways Center. The next stop is San Diego on Nov. 11 for a show at the Viejas Arena. On Nov. 13 the tour rolls into Las Vegas for a gig at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and on Nov. 15 it’s back to California for a show at Anaheim’s Honda Center.
Stops also include Los Angeles at the Staples Center; Nov. 16; Vancouver at General Motors Place Nov. 24; Calgary at Pengrowth Saddledome Nov. 26 and Edmonton at Rexall Place Nov. 28.
Other cities in the routing include Denver, Miami, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Montreal, Chicago, Detroit (Auburn Hills), and Houston. At this time the last stop on the tour is Jan. 24 in Dallas at the American Airlines Center.
