Britney Spears’ Stalkerazzi Sentenced

A woman caught spying on Britney Spears’ Calabasas, Calif., home back in April was found guilty of snooping and sentenced to three years of probation.

A judge in Malibu, Calif., also sentenced Miranda Tozier-Robbins to 240 hours of community service, according to Los Angeles Superior Court spokeswoman Patricia Kelly.

Spears’ security guards caught the 26-year-old lurking outside the singer’s home, peering into the star’s windows. The woman was decked out in camouflage and carrying camera equipment. After being arrested April 16, Tozier-Robbins was issued a citation for trespassing and disorderly conduct and released.

Tozier-Robbins, a former “American Idol” hopeful, claimed that she wasn’t a stalker but was making a paparazzi documentary. She said “she wanted to show the efforts the paparazzi go through” and chose Spears as her target because it “might as well be someone I’m interested in.”

Spears wasn’t home at the time. Tozier-Robbins said she didn’t expect Brit-Brit to be home but that she might have sold any footage if she would have captured some tabloid-worthy shots.

Tozier-Robbins was also ordered to stay away from Spears and her home.

Guess her career as a paparazzi documentary filmmaker is over.
