There’s a third component in this contest – your local cable TV provider. Together, Fuse, Live Nation and cable operators in 15 markets will promote this one-of-a-kind sweepstakes where the winner will receive a pair of tickets for 20 shows at select local Live Nation venues during the 2010 season.

The Rock Star For A Year promotion represents high-octane synergy for all involved, and calls for cross-promoting the contest as well as Live Nation events through co-branded customizable TV ads on local cable systems. The custom TV spots and accompanying signage will also receive extensive visibility at Live Nation venues in select markets.

“Our job at Live Nation is to connect artists and fans, and Fuse is a direct conduit to some of the most active music fans in the country,” said Joey Scoleri, Live Nation’s senior VP of tour marketing/promotion. “We expect this promotion to generate continued excitement and incremental ticket sales for one of the best summer concert lineups in recent memory.”
