It’s called the 50th Law Book Tour, and it features Fiddy conversing with Robert Greene, author of the 1998 tome The 48 Laws of Power.  50 Cent and Greene came up with an urban version of 48 Laws called The 50th Law, and will do a few speaking dates to get the word out.

Turns out 50 Cent has been a fan of Greene’s since the latter’s 2006 book, The 33 Strategies of War, which applies battlefield strategies to everyday life.

Right now the book tour has five dates scheduled for September, and no one is indicating just how long this outing might last. The current schedule shows the tour starting in New York City at Town Hall Sept. 8, followed by Washington, DC, at Howard University Sept. 9; Atlanta at The Tabernacle Sept. 10; Royal Oak, Mich., at the Royal Oak Music Theatre Sept. 11 and Los Angeles at The Wiltern Sept. 12.

Described as somewhat “Machiavellian” by book critics, the rules featured in The 48 Laws of Power include “Crush your enemy totally,” “Do not commit to anyone,” “Make your accomplishments seem effortless,” “Pose as a friend, work as a spy,” and “Get others to do the work for you, but always take the credit.” The No. 1 law is “Never outshine The Master.”

Should be an interesting tour.
