Ch… Ch… Ch… Changes
Weather is the culprit in Leonard Cohen’s postponement of tonight’s gig in Denver at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
The venue’s Web site says all tickets purchased for tonight will be honored on the rescheduled date, now set for June 4 – same venue, same incredible view.
Sugarland fans didn’t get off so easy. This week’s June 4 engagement at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario, has been postponed, as well as the June 5 show in Toronto at the Moslon Amphitheatre.
The John Labatt Center show is now scheduled for July 8, 2010. That’s right, just over a year from now. And the Toronto gig? That’s now scheduled for July 9, 2010. Live Nation says both shows, which also featured Billy Currington and Stephen Kellogg & The Sixers, were rescheduled due to scheduling conflicts.
We’re reminded of the old homily about how “good things come to those who wait.” You can bet those folks in the Great White North who just learned they’ll have to wait 13 months to see their favorite band will expect something really, really good next year.
