Britney Adds Europe Dates

Throughout European cities such as Paris, Antwerp, Copenhagen and Stockholm, people are celebrating the news that Britney Spears is coming to their local sports arenas this summer.

Forget about the economy and leave worrying about Swine Flu for another day. Britney has added Ireland, France, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Russia to her list of things to do in Europe.

Dublin gets a double-dose of Britney – June 19 & 20 – at the O2. Paris also gets a twofer –July 5-6 at the Bercy.

Antwerp has her on July 9 for a show at the Sportpalaise. Copenhagen (the city, not the chewing tobacco), welcomes her for a gig at the Parken on July 11. Stockholm hosts her on July 13 at the Globen, and Helsinki, Finland, rolls out the red carpet for when Britney brings her Circus Tour to that city’s Hartwell Arena.

Russia is also getting a taste of true Brit as Ms. Spears plays St. Petersburg’s Ice Hall on July 19 and Moscow’s Olympiiski on July 21.

Previously announced are the 8 shows scheduled for London’s O2 Arena starting on June 3 and a gig slotted for Manchester, England, at the Evening News Arena scheduled for June 17.

Announced by BritneySpears.com, the world suddenly became more interesting as unconfirmed reports of the blind suddenly being able to see as well as the deaf hearing and the mute talking circumnavigated the globe. Yes, Britney’s coming to Europe and life is good.
