Britney Spears Spied On By Stalkerazzi
Hmm. I wonder if that excuse could work for other crimes. Just tell the cops that you’re not really a robber, you’re making a documentary about shoplifting. It’s that simple! Not exactly.
Miranda Tozier-Robbins’ so-called documentary research was cut off after Spears’ security guards caught the 26-year-old her lurking outside the singer’s home, decked out in camouflage with camera gear in hand. After being arrested, Tozier-Robbins was issued a citation for trespassing and disorderly conduct and released.
Tozier-Robbins, a former “American Idol” hopeful, said she’s making the documentary because, as the Associated Press explained, “she wanted to show the efforts the paparazzi go through.”
It’s true, it’s a tough life – no regular hours, you probably have to work weekends and health insurance and vacation pay aren’t included as part of the job description. Oh, and everyone besides TMZ hates you. I’m guessing the life of a paparazzi requires almost as much effort as being an “Idol”/documentary filmmaker wannabe.
And why Spears? Hasn’t the star had enough drama in her life? Her stalker said she chose Spears because it “might as well be someone I’m interested in.”
Good point. If you’re going to stalk, might as well stalk someone you like.
Spears’ whereabouts at the time of the incident have not been disclosed. Hours later the pop star took the stage at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for a two-night stand. The singer is currently on tour showing off tunes from her Circus album, with dates on the books through mid-June.
Tozier-Robbins said she didn’t think Spears would be home but that she would have tried to make some dough on some pictures if she would have snapped any.
Spears recently moved to Calabasas because her hilltop home in Los Angeles was a popular paparazzi stakeout. Too bad the new place isn’t working out so well for her.
