Phish Trek Spawns New Dates
After a five-year hiatus, the members of Phish appear to be having a terrific time on the road. So much fun that they’ve just added a dozen shows to their outing.
The new leg of the band’s trek kicks off with a four-night stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., and includes a pair of shows at the breathtaking George Amphitheatre in Quincy, Wash.
Other lucky cities on Phish’s schedule include Chicago; Darien Center, N.Y.; Harford, Conn.; Columbia, Md.; and Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
An online ticket request period is currently underway for the newly announced shows at Phish.Portals.MusicToday.com.
Tickets for Phish’s Red Rock shows go on sale March 26, with other dates to follow. Complete info on onsale dates is available at Phish.com.
In other news, the band has recorded demos for 20 new songs, which they plan to begin honing for a new album with producer Steve Lillywhite in April.
