Other postponed dates are March 6 in Orlando at the UCF Arena and March 7 at Tampa’s Sundome.

An official statement announcing the postponements says Williams was experiencing shortness of breath and is “currently being evaluated by doctors who are recommending a week of rest.”

Though, when you think of it, it’s not easy to imagine the frenetic comedian resting, shortness of breath or not.

Williams’s current tour began in September 2008 and is scheduled to run through late May. Along with one-night stands in various cities, Williams is also scheduled to bring the funny to several sold-out nights on Broadway, April 28 through May 3.
