Spend The Night With Tom Jones
Sir Tom Jones (he was awarded a “Knight Bachelor” in 2006) launches the trek Feb. 24 at Terminal 5 in New York City and will work his way back and forth across the country and drop in on Las Vegas in between for a trio of extended runs.
Fans can groove with the golden voiced singer in places like 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (Feb. 25), House of Blues in Boston (March 1), The Warfield in San Francisco (March 7), Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota, Fla. (April 22), and King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, Fla. (April 26).
The first run of Vegas dates at the MGM Grand Hollywood Theatre begins March 19 and runs through April 1, the second runs May 7-20 and the third August 6-19.
Expect to hear old favorites like “It’s Not Unusual,” “Delilah” and “With These Hands,” killer covers like “Kiss,” “Burning Down the House” and “Mama Told Me Not To Come” and plenty of tracks from the critically acclaimed Hours, including “Sugar Daddy,” which was written for Jones by Bono and The Edge.
Panty throwing is optional.
