Dates begin Feb. 11 in Raleigh, N.C., (Pour House Music Hall) and include Athens, Ga., (Feb. 13, Tasty World) New Orleans, (Feb. 17, One Eyed Jacks) and Tampa, Fla. (Feb. 19, The Crowbar). Things wrap up at Gravity Lounge in Charlottesville, Va., Feb. 22.

Cambridge, Mass.-based Drug Rug will then head out for a few dates of its own, taking in the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C., New York’s Mercury Lounge and The Paradise Rock Club in Boston Feb 25-27.

Drug Rug, which recently received favorable press in Spin and The New Yorker, is supporting new EP Kitchen Tapes and is to release its sophomore LP this summer.

Philadelphia-based Dr. Dog is touring behind 2008’s Fate, which garnered comparisons to such greats as The Beatles and The Beach Boys.
