T.I.’s A Pay Pal
“It was just a clerical error, totally innocent,” the rapper told the Fulton County judge. “I will accept full responsibility for that.”
T.I. ponied up a check for the money owed, settling the matter.
Lawyers for the mother, LaShon Dixon, asked the judge to intervene because T.I. failed to pay in November. He had agreed to the payment as part of an ongoing child support case.
The two-time Grammy winner was ordered in September to pay more than $3,000 a month to Dixon along with the boys’ private school tuition, uninsured medical bills and expenses. The rapper was already paying $2,000 per month. The couple are still negotiating child support and custody.
T.I. also has two sons with his fiancée, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, of the defunct R&B group Xscape.
