Flaming Lips Curate NY ATP

The Flaming Lips have been chosen to act as the Sunday curator for the second annual All Tomorrow’s Parties New York festival.

The event will take place Sept. 11-13 and will return to Kutsher’s Country Club in Monticello, N.Y. Along with performing, the Lips will choose 15 other acts to play Sept. 13.

Acts confirmed so far for Friday and Saturday include Dirty Three (performing Ocean Songs in its entirety), Suicide (performing its debut in its entirety), comedian David Cross, Animal Collective, Anti-Pop Consortium, Atlas Sound, Autolux, Black Dice and Panda Bear.

Additional acts will be announced in the coming months.

Tickets, which are $235 plus a $12 booking fee, are available at ATPFestival.com.

Accommodations at Kutsher’s and the nearby Raleigh Resort are also on sale now.

Last year’s ATP was co-curated by My Bloody Valentine and sold out well in advance.
