Maddy Says The Show Must Go On

If you have tickets for tonight’s Madonna concert at L.A.’s Dodger Stadium, and you’ve been hearing rumors about stage damage that might cause a cancellation or postponement, you can rest easy. Madonna will perform as scheduled.

An equipment malfunction halted construction of the stage yesterday. What’s more, damage to the top of the stage created several lighting and technical issues.

Nevertheless, trooper that she is, Maddy says the show will take place as scheduled.

In an e-mail to Associated Press, Madonna wrote: “Even though my stage roof was damaged and some lights and effects aren’t working, I want to do the show anyway because I don’t want to disappoint my fans.”
