Band Ho!
U.K. folk rockers Noah and the Whale are packing their bags for a two-week sojourn in the U.S. and Canada.
The band starts its North American journey December 2 at Black Cat in Washington, D.C., and works both coasts with a sprinkling of Midwest dates thrown in along the way.
The “dynamic little British group who have an admiration for Wes Anderson, twee rock and inside jokes” will visit places like Johnny Brenda’s in Philadelphia (December 3), Middle East Upstairs in Boston (December 6), Magic Stick in Detroit (December 11), Chop Suey in Seattle (December 16), and The Independent in San Francisco (December 19).
Noah and the Whale have also dropped some hints about “an awesome contest for filmmakers.” Watch this space for details as they’re revealed.
