Midday Update
Well just like the U.S. Olympic team we put our staff through months of rigorous training and feed them high-calorie diets so they can land a perfect score with new listings for Oasis, Duffy, Justin Nozuka, Darker My Love and Dressy Bessy and bring home the gold with items about Cher fans, Chelsea Handler, The Philadelphia Folk Festival, leaked U2 tracks, DMX in hot water and Diddy’s latest protegee Janelle Monae.

Dates, Dates & More Dates …
We’re not sure which is bigger news: that the Gallagher brothers can stand to be near each other long enough for a whole show or that Oasis has announced a U.K. tour. Whatever the case cities in the path of the battling sibs include Liverpool, Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Cardiff, Belfast, Aberdeen and more.
Here’s someone we’d have no trouble spending time with – Duffy. The singer is filling out the rest of her year, tacking on new headlining shows in Europe (Italy, Ireland and the U.K) and opening gigs for Coldplay in the States, with stops including Cleveland, Boston, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia.
Singer/songwriter Justin Nozuka‘s trek in support of his album, Holly, continues to grow. Just added stops include Denver, Honolulu, Detroit, Dallas, Austin, Seattle and West Hollywood.
If you prefer your music a little darker, Los Angeles psychedelic rockers Darker My Love are on the move, adding dates in Portland, Ore.; Seattle; Boise, Idaho; Salt Lake City; Iowa City and Nashville.
How many of you out there learned to button your shirt and tie your shoes from Dressy Bessy? While the band named for her probably won’t be much help with either of those things, its sure to deliver some killer retro-pop tunes. Stops on the itinerary of Dressy Bessy’s just-announced tour include Denver, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Minneapolis and St. Louis.
Way to go team! Another excellent performance. Now everyone hit the showers, get some rest and get psyched-up for the finals (of the day anyway) when The Closing Bell rings at 5 pm PST.
