Jennings has partnered with industry conglomerate Music World Entertainment to create It’s Real. Preserve Your Lyfe!

As part of the initiative, local health facilities will be distributing Lyfe Change kits in each of the 22 cites on the singer’s schedule, containing HIV/AIDS prevention and education resources, as well as copies of his song “It’s Real,” which addresses the epidemic.

Jennings, who has been a champion of HIV/AIDS awareness throughout his career believes education is the key to ending the problem.

“I have to use my voice to help raise awareness so that we can really bring an end to this thing,” he said. “This disease has affected all of our lives, but we can definitely do things to prevent its spread and to protect ourselves.”

Upcoming stops on Jennings’ tour include House of Blues in Dallas (July 4), Ogden Theatre in Denver (July 8), The Fillmore in San Francisco (July 14), The Rave Eagles Club in Milwaukee (July 20), Sonar in Baltimore (July 27), and the James L. Knight Center in Miami (August 2).
