Your Latest Update
Lots of new August engagements for Edwin McCain, hand-scrawled on cheap newsprint, tied to a rock and mysteriously chucked through our front window, lead off this latest update. With the focus on the west coast look for Mr. McCain playing San Diego on August 19, Agoura Hills on August 20, San Juan Capistrano on August 21, West Hollywood, which is just like Hollywood but more western, on August 22, San Francisco on August 23, Seattle on August 25 and Portland on August 26. The artist also adds a January 6, ’09 date in Sellersville, PA.
We also received several new August dates for The Honorary Title, which arrived by Vespa courier only a few short minutes ago. Dates like August 1 in Reno at The Underground, August 2 in San Francisco at 12 Galaxies, August 12 in Atlanta at The Masquerade and August 14 in Baltimore at Ottobar. Other new stops for the band include shows in Austin, Carrboro and New Orleans.
The two new dates for Sebastian Bach also arrived in unique fashion – tied to a flaming arrow shot through our VP of Office Morality’s window. New on Mr. Bach’s calendar is July 25 in New Orleans at House Of Blues and August 26 in Alpine, California, at DreamCatcher At Viejas.
Finally, the new dates for Great American Taxi arrived strapped to the back of burro along with several copies of an old obscure concert industry book called “So You Want To Be A Roadie.” New listings include July 18 in Eureka, California; July 30 in Chicago, Illinois; July 31 in Madison, Wisconsin and September 11 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
During the last couple of hours we also updated the schedules for Future Pilot, Firehouse, David Murray Black Saint Quartet, Henry Butler, Hal Ketchum, Kevn Kinney, Los Lobos, Cory Morrow, April Wine, Anti-Flag, Amanda Martinez, Oakhurst, Ryan James, The Breakfast, Young Dubliners and Zack Walther And The Cronkites.
And there’s still more to come as we sweat out the last couple of hours trying to jam 10,000 new dates into 120 minutes of fast-as-lightning processing. Don’t miss your last update of the day – The Closing Bell – coming up around 5 pm (PDT), from Pollstar.com!
