The concert series, celebrating its 25th year, runs through July 6 with its Mainstage Series taking place in Power Center for the Performing Arts and Hill Auditorium on the campus of the University of Michigan.

In addition to the musical performances, there will be a variety of special programs taking place both indoors and outdoors, including free education and outreach opportunities, Family Day activities, Global Parties, a classical music organ series and a weekend of admission-free outdoor performances by British aerial troupe, The Dream Engine.

“In this anniversary year, we wanted to give a nod to the past, but also focus on the future,” Festival Director Robb Woulfe said. “The season offers return engagements by longtime festival favorites as well as debut performances from up-and-coming artists.

“Our goal is to provide an eclectic program that is as diverse as the community we serve.”
