Dates, Dates & More Dates …
The top-notch jazz package called Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra / Wynton Marsalis adds to its 2008 tour plans today with new dates for June, July, September and October as well as a few shows for next year. Winnipeg, Calgary, Edinburgh, Vancouver and Victoria now figure into the June routing, Portland, Salt Lake City and Reno are added to July, September now includes Naperville, IL and Stevens Point, WI, University Park, PA, and Troy, NY, are stops in October. 2009 stops include Charleston, Atlanta, Springfield, IL, and DC.
Loreena McKennitt adds several new dates to her summer Euro plans. Amsterdam snags Loreena for a June 30 gig, while Germany gets her attention for several shows such as Berlin on July 1, Cologne on July 5 and Dresden on July 8.
Chicago updates today with several new show listings. U.S. dates, many with The Doobie Brothers, include Chicago, Atlanta, Boston and Cleveland, while Europe in July puts the band in locales like Stockholm, Berlin, Paris and Monte Carlo.
And we have new listings for Mem Shannon & The Membership! New gigs are for April, May and June and include performances in New Orleans, St. Louis, Chicago and Edmonton.
