The group will finish out the year in the U.K. and Europe, before hopping across the pond in mid-January.

Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s Stateside journey kicks off January 15 at St. Paul’s School in Concord, N.H., and runs through mid-March.

Highlights on the itinerary include stops at Kimmel Center in Philadelphia (January 20), Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore (January 23), B.B. King’s Blues Club in New York City (January 26), Philips Center For The Performing Arts in Gainesville, Fla. (February 2), Manship Theatre in Baton Rouge, La. (February 14-15), Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth, Texas (February 18), Bovard Auditorium in Los Angeles (February 26), the Tower Theatre in Bend, Ore. (March 4), the Moore Theatre in Seattle (March 12) and the McDonald Theatre in Eugene, Ore. (March 15).

Ladysmith Black Mambazo’s last release, Long Walk To Freedom, was a greatest hits of sorts. The album features new versions of a dozen of the group’s hits with guest vocals by a host of artists, including Natalie Merchant, Melissa Etheridge, Emmylou Harris, Sarah McLachlan and Taj Mahal.

The group has already released its new album, Ilembe, in its native South Africa and the U.K. The disc is scheduled to hit the States in January with the revised title, Ilembe: Honoring Shaka Zulu.
