The Return Of Blind Melon
Blind Melon, which split after the death of singer Shannon Hoon in 1995, has reformed after 12 years with new vocalist Travis Warren. The resurrected band will hit the road in October for its first tour since Hoon died.
The 10-city tour kicks off October 7 at Club Decibel in Providence, R.I., and will hit clubs across the East Coast and Midwest, including The Grog Shop in Cleveland (October 11), Double Door in Chicago (October 16), Diesel in Pittsburgh (October 22), and Harper’s Ferry in Allston, Mass. (October 22).
Tickets for some shows are available through Ticketmaster beginning September 6.
In a recent statement, the band announced they have finished a new album and will be road-testing the new songs along with “all the old songs that we love – the ones that gave us this opportunity.”
