Third Time’s A Charm?
British rockers The Verve, who first split in 1995 and then again in 1999, announced they’ve reunited and have been recording a new album in a London studio. After a summer break, they’ll return to the studio to complete the disc.
Band members Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones and Pete Salisbury have all returned to the fold. The only notable absence is Simon Tong, who’s a member of Damon Albarn’s current project The Good, The Bad & The Queen.
The Verve will play a series of shows in the U.K. in November, including stops in Glasgow, Scotland; Blackpool and London.
Tickets for the shows go on sale July 6. More info is available at www.theverve.tv.
