The Flip Flop Summer Tour is to begin at Qwest Center Omaha in Nebraska April 12. Pat Green and Sugarland will open on all dates, and Sara Evans and Brooks & Dunn will give added support at the stadium dates.

Stadiums on the itinerary include Qwest Field & Event Center in Seattle, Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., Ford Field in Detroit and more.

“I guess I’m glad people are so excited about what we’re doing,” Chesney said in a press release. “It’s still a little bit crazy to me, but I know I can’t wait to get out there – start rocking the parking lots when we can and hitting the stage as hard as possible. It’s gonna be a good summer.”

The singer cautioned that some dates may still be subject to change, but said he preferred to release the tentative itinerary rather than let rumors continue to fly.
