The 13-date tour kicks off on June 8tat Passeio Maritimo Alges in Lisbon, Portugal, and includes dates in Spain, Germany, Poland, Italy, Austria, England, Denmark, Holland and Belgium.

There are currently no other Pearl Jam shows scheduled for 2007.

“Our shows in Europe last fall were incredible and gave us the itch to return as quickly as possible to some of our favorite places, as well as visit some cities we haven’t been to in awhile,” Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis said. “Historically, there have been five years or so between our visits to Europe, so it’s a treat to go back again so soon.”

Pearl Jam’s 2007 European summer tour follows the band’s 2006 tour of Latin America, North America, Europe and Australia promoting its eponymous record.

During August and September of ’06, the band played 23 concerts in 14 countries throughout Europe, performing for close to half a million fans.

Public on-sale dates, additional ticket information and opening acts will be announced in local markets in the coming weeks.
