Evanescence has announced the second leg of U.S. dates on their World Tour. The rock group, featuring Amy Lee (vocals, piano, keyboard), Terry Balsamo (guitar), John LeCompt (guitar), Rocky Gray (drums), and Tim McCord (bass), will perform 14 dates in arenas.
The road trip will feature support acts Chevelle and Finger Eleven, and the whole shebang kicks off March 16 in Fresno, Calif. The trek wraps April 5 in Glens Falls, N.Y.
Tickets go on sale January 27.
Evanescence is also planning a third U.S. leg which will bring the band to arenas in major markets in the late spring/early summer.
The band returned to touring in 2006 after a two-year absence. The October release ofThe Open Door marked a rebirth of sorts for Amy Lee & Co; her band saw a meteoric rise in 2003 and ’04 with a huge hit album Fallen, and a massive accompanying tour.
