Gwen Winds Up
While the long rumored No Doubt reunion still seems like it might be a while in coming, Gwen Stefani is giving her fans plenty to keep them busy. The singer has a new look, a new album, The Sweet Escape, and a 2007 tour in the gate and ready to go.
Stefani will launch The Sweet Escape world tour April 21 at the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix. Tickets for the North American leg of the tour, which is scheduled for a 40-city run through June 22, will go on sale in February.
Her web site promises that dates for Central America, South America, Australia, Asia and Europe will be announced in 2007.
Stefani’s 41-city tour in support of her debut solo album, Love. Angel. Music. Baby., grossed $24.2 million, a feat that earned the singer the No. 16 spot on Pollstar‘s Top 100 Tours of 2005 list.
