The drummer has been ordered to rest his right arm for eight weeks after breaking it during a video shoot and messing it up even more during a recent seven-show European promo tour, according to a statement from Barker’s spokesperson.

No word on Paris Hilton’s involvement in the story yet, but you know the rumor mill will spew out something momentarily.

The Associated Press reported Barker’s estranged wife, Shanna Moakler, and Paris Hilton each filed police reports charging battery Wednesday morning after an incident at the Hollywood nightclub Hyde.

Barker and Hilton are alledgedly an item, or were, or maybe they’re just really friendly.

In any case, Plus 44’s big club tour is scheduled to kick off October 13 in San Diego and run through November 22 in Detroit. No one is saying if Barker will be behind the drum kit or not.

The band’s debut album, When Your Heart Stops Beating, lands in stores on November 14.
