Dylan Rocks On
Bob Dylan has picked some rockin’ youngsters, relatively speaking, to open his latest round of tour dates.
The first leg, launching October 11 in Vancouver, B.C., will feature Kings of Leon in the support slot. After a two-night stand at Chicago’s Sears Center, the Kings will be replaced by an acoustic version of Foo Fighters.
The Foos will stay onboard through November 8, with The Raconteurs jumping on the next day in Portland, Maine. The Jack White / Brendan Benson-led band will support for the remainder of the tour, which wraps November 18 in Philadelphia.
Dylan has spent the last two years touring with fellow veterans like Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson.
A new Dylan album, Modern Times, hits stores August 29.
